Michelle W. Malkin was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where she earned her Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration. She has held multiple Executive Director roles in the Jewish community, with a focus on local community impact.

She is the creator and host of It’s Who You Know! The Podcast, featuring conversations with Jewish community leaders. Inspired by her board service with Yesh Tikva: Jewish Fertility Network, she launched the Ma’alah Board Matching project to connect Jewish professionals with nonprofit board opportunities that align with their passions.

Michelle is also the President and Founder of Friends of Redwood Elementary, dedicated to raising funds for capital improvements at this neighborhood school.

She lives in West Orange, NJ with her husband Barak, host of Torah Smash!, and their two sons. Michelle enjoys gardening, yoga, tea, warm weather, reading, and new adventures.
