Michelle W. Malkin was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where she earned her  Masters in  Nonprofit Management . After working for a variety of LA based Jewish non-profit organizations, Michelle relocated to the east coast in 2016.

Michelle serves as the Executive Director of Temple Ner Tamid in Bloomfield, NJ. In this vibrant community, Michelle is responsible for the financial health of the multimillion-dollar budget, the workplace happiness of 60+ employees, structural integrity of the entire 25K sqft property, and programming for their 2,000 members.

For the last three years, Michelle has served in several volunteer leadership positions throughout the Jewish community including Yesh Tikvah, Leading Edge, GANSE, and more.

Michelle lives in West Orange, NJ with her husband Barak, host of the podcast Torah Smash!, and their preschool aged sons. She loves gardening and yoga, tea and warm weather, reading, and going on new adventures!
